Brush pile items accepted are tree branches (no greater than 6 feet in length and 3 feet in diameter), tree prunings, shrub trimmings, weeds, and garden waste. Please remove all dirt from the plant’s roots. Accepted materials may be dumped in the large brush pile behind the Recycling Center facility.
The Recycling Center accepts residents’ grass clippings. Grass clippings are placed along the north guide rail by the light post; look for signage. Do not place grass clippings in the brush pile.
Leaf waste dropped off by residents may be dumped in the grass clipping, sod and dirt pile. Contractors will dump leaf waste down back by the school bus lot.
Leaf waste dropped off by residents and contractors may be dumped in the grass clipping pile along the north guide rail by the light post; look for signage. Contractors must report to the main office or the recycling center before disposing of materials.
Acceptance of yard waste materials by contractors must be collected from within the Township. The Township does not accept other municipal yard waste materials.
Please be mindful that any unacceptable items placed in the brush pile, grass clippings, and leaf waste piles can cause injuries to the workers and damage to the processing equipment.
