The Derry Township Emergency Management Agency is currently monitoring Tropical Storm Nicole whose remnants may bring 2-4” of rain and wind gusts in excess of 25 MPH to our region on Friday and Friday evening, November 11, 2022, and into Saturday, November 12, 2022.
Given the potential for localized flooding, residents are asked to ensure that leaves and fall yard waste are clear from roadways and especially storm drains by Friday. The Township’s Public Works Department continues to collect leaves in residential neighborhoods as scheduled; however, anyone experiencing blocked storm drains on the roadways should contact the Derry Township Municipal Authority at (717) 576-8268 to have the drains cleared.
