This program explores the ecology and natural history of an autumnal/vernal pond in south central PA and takes viewers through a year’s cycle at a vernal pool and relates the pools connection to the forest ecosystem.  these ephemeral wetlands contribute the greatest vertebrate biomass tour forest and are an important link in carbon cycling.
