𝐀𝐓𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 - 𝐑𝐈𝐃𝐆𝐄 𝐑𝐎𝐀𝐃 𝐃𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐆𝐄 𝐈𝐌𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐉𝐄𝐂𝐓: The Derry Township Municipal Authority (DTMA) wants to inform residents of an upcoming project which involves replacing, upgrading, and relocating the storm sewer from Spring Creek near Hersheypark, along Park Boulevard and Ridge Road, to the Ridge Road-West Chocolate Avenue intersection, and south to West Caracas Avenue, starting 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟑𝐫𝐝, construction will require road closures through February and March 2025. Ridge Road is currently closed north of K Street, and the Hershey Plaza Apartments entrance to Park Boulevard has a 24/7 closure. Park Boulevard will be 𝐂𝐋𝐎𝐒𝐄𝐃 starting Monday, February 3rd, with both roads 𝐂𝐋𝐎𝐒𝐄𝐃 through March. The Hershey Plaza Apartments, K Street, and Hershey Towne Square will remain fully accessible during the closure. Message boards and detour signs will guide traffic.
