NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of the Township of Derry, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. in the main meeting room of Administration building at the Derry Township Municipal Complex, 600 Clearwater Road, Hershey. The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comment regarding Conditional Use Request No. 2016-01, as filed by Escape Room Hershey for the establishment of “Escape Rooms” at 251 and 253 West Chocolate Avenue, Hershey.  The petitioner requests that a Conditional Use authorization be granted under the provisions of Chapter 225 (Zoning), Section 225-59.B of the Derry Township Code of Ordinances, in accordance with the provisions of Section 225-115, to allow a use similar to those uses otherwise permitted within the Downtown Commercial zoning district.

The letter of request and supporting information may be viewed at the Derry Township Department of Community Development, 600 Clearwater Road, Hershey, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
