RIDGE ROAD/CHOCOLATE AVENUE:
PA American Water will begin work tomorrow evening, July 23, 2024, to avoid disrupting customer service during the day. Affected customers have already been notified. After the initial evening work, construction will continue during the day until the project is completed. Please note that this work will impact the southbound lane of Ridge Road from Chocolate Avenue to 1st Street North, near the parking garage. This lane will be closed to accommodate equipment and trucks, and no left turns will be permitted from 1st Street North onto Ridge Road. Only the northbound lane will remain open. Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained throughout the project.
HOMESTEAD ROAD:
Homestead Road will be closed for the next three (3) weeks for construction of the roundabout on Bachmanville Road. During this closure, the Derry Township Public Works Department is taking full advantage of the closure to make additional road repairs. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and ask that you plan your routes accordingly. We will provide updates as the work progresses and appreciate your patience.
